Catherine Booker

Research Coordinator

Catherine Booker's current work at the Feast Centre supports Indigenous and allied researchers as their research coordinator ‘Auntie’. She received her MA in Cultural Studies and Critical Theory from McMaster University in 2022. Her previous work at McMaster supports Indigenous students in Health education student services. She is from down the river, with mixed Munsee, Gael, and Black ancestry from the Dawn settlement. Her current research interests include Indigenous narratives of health, the power, privilege and responsibilities of intersecting identities in Canada, storytelling as research methods, sexual futures and decolonial love.
