Darrell H. S. Tan

Darrell H. S. Tan is an infectious diseases physician and clinician-scientist at St. Michael's Hospital, and leader of the Options Collaboratory in HIV/STI treatment and prevention science (www.optionslab.ca). He is a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in HIV Prevention and STI Research, Co-Lead of the HIV Prevention Core of the Canadian HIV Trials Network, and a member of the Governing Council of the International AIDS Society.   Dr. Tan's research focuses on HIV/STI co-infections and biomedical HIV prevention in Canada. As Nominated PI of the Pan-Canadian PrEP Cohort and a 5-year team grant on PrEP implementation in Ontario and British Columbia, he will provide access to large interprovincial datasets on pre-exposure prophylaxis as it is scaled up.
