Community Based Practices in Indigenous STBBI
Community Based Practices in Indigenous STBBI
We examine wise-practices in community-based research as an approach to STBBI research across the four pillars of health (basic, clinical, epidemiological, social sciences) with Indigenous peoples living with or affected by sexually transmitted blood borne infections. We are particularly interested in how specific tenets of community-based research are operationalized and how CBR transforms when interfaced with decolonizing and Indigenous methodologies within each of the four pillars of health.
